Movie Maker : IIUM, The Garden of Knowledge and Virtue

InsyaAllah, ini adalah satu usaha kami untuk memperkenalkan Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (UIAM), Kampus Gombak terutamanya kepada adik-adik yang bercita-cita untuk menjejakkan kaki kalian ke Taman Ilmu dan Budi ini. First of all, Thanks to Allah swt, the Most Merciful, the Most Gracious, Peace be upon to our beloved prophet Muhammad saw. Our beloved lecturer, Dr. Sharifah Sariah, My beloved partners, Nurhana and Akmal, fellow friends. Ramadhan Kareem!

For movie maker, alhamdulillah I am already learned about the application. So, I do not have many problems to catch up. However, since I learned it, I found that movie maker is quite sensitive especially when we put too many picture in slide. It will make it slowly and sometimes unable to process. If it happens when we not save our project, it will make it lost. So, when I use movie maker, I am always remember my self to save the project every 10 minutes. Do you have any ideas to overcome this problem?

For adobe photoshop, seriously this is my first time using this application. I am really excited to explore it because I like photography and also to edit pictures. Although it was really hard to learn but I know madam already give her best to teach us. In this application, I think why people feel very hard to learn because the instruction given is not clear compared to the other editing picture application. For those who are learned it without instructor may not able to use it wisely. For example, when we use the stamp tool, if we do not know how to click keyboard or which button should we click to make it run, it only will make our picture worst. However, I think this skill is very important for our future as a teacher especially in this era.

For blog, InsyaAllah I think I am able to manage it because I am already have one for my self before this. For me, using blog is a good idea to accept our religion asking to share our good knowledge and experiences with all people around. Actually, many applications we can put inside our blog, but we have to explore more to make our blog more interesting. Our skill in adobe photoshop and movie maker also can enhance to create something to share in our blog. For information, we can also make the template from our own creativity, but it depends on our skill.

I think that’s all from me. Let us share our knowledge to make ourselves the good teachers in future. Insha Allah.

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim… First of all, I want to say alhamdulillah because Allah has gives me the opportunity to create something in this blog. I am also want to thank to my lovely madam, Dr. Sharifah Sariah bt. Syed Hassan; my Instructional Technology’s teacher. Here, I would like to share my experience during in her class. I am very enjoying learning in that class and get much knowledge about the technology. We learn how to apply the computer skills such as Adobe Photoshop CS2/3 and movie maker. About two hours per a week in that class, we think it is too short time learning about that, but it is does not be a problem for us.

First week in that class, we have introduced by our teacher the introduction of Instructional Technology and learning theories. From that, we know and understand the differences between Educational Technology and Instructional Technology, the learning theory and so on.

After finish all the introduction of Instructional Technology, we begin to learn about media. We learn how to use movie maker and follow by another thing such as Adobe Photoshop. For the first time learning the Adobe Photoshop, I feel it is quite difficult, but then I am enjoying very much. There are more advantages learning that. Another word, I love very much learning in IT class!!!

Salam. Firstly, I want say thanks to our nice lecturer is Dr Sharifah Sariah Syed Hassan that teaches us in subject of Instructional Technology. So, now I want to share something with you all about my feeling and my experiences during learning in this class. Honestly, I’m very happy to be members of this class because I can know many knowledge and skills about instructional technology that I can use it in teaching students in the future. I’m sure it can help attract students to pay attention and make class more attractive and fun.

One of the skills that I’m already learned is Adobe Photoshop. I’m very excited and interested in learning this skill. Personally, I’m loved to design the posters, editing pictures and something like that. So through this skill, I can explore and expert in making posters and banners as well. I just want to share that I’m already create a poster for bureau welfare and community services, BEDSA in program of “community services at Zoo Negara”. I got the good feedback from friends and other members of this bureau about the poster.

In the last class, we are learned about edit damaged pictures. So, now I’m already having the new skill that makes me very excited. For information, I’m in process editing an old picture from my parent’s collections. If you want to see the picture, stay tuned with our blog...
